Established in 1963 following the old design of a 9-hole course, the Metz Cherisey course as it is known today with its 18 championship holes was designed by architect Donald Harradine in 1987. It is the oldest golf in Moselle. It spreads over 55 hectares on a hilly and partly wooded area, especially in the former park of the Cherisey castle. It has two lakes, relatively large fairways even in the most wooded part. The Par is 72 (36 & 36) and regular (two par 5 and two par 3 on the front and back nines).
Maximum length is 6172 meters.
